We are a diverse collection of Apple enthusiasts with one common denominator: a love of all things Apple. Founded in 1986, The Macintosh Association of Central New Jersey is a Registered Apple User Group. Our members include Photographers, Designers, Musicians, Lawyers, Engineers, Teachers, Truck Drivers, and just plain folk, who use our Macs either professionally, purely for fun…or both.
Some of us have a passion for the latest ‘must have’ Apple device, while others treasure our dinosaurs that still do the jobs we need them to do perfectly well.
We meet once a month to exchange ideas, share new software or gadget experiences, plead for help with technical issues, get advice --- kind of like a blog with real people, coffee, bagels, and donuts.
Our meetings generally start off with of an open Q&A/share for the first hour, followed by a presentation from a guest or member speaker. We cover the latest from Apple, OS and IOS updates, advice on security, the cloud, show and tells by our members who might have expertise in software we might not all be familiar with, or photo editing tips, etc…..
We are also privy to private presentations just for us, once or twice year at the Apple Store in Bridgewater Commons before the store opens.
Just curious? No question is too small or silly—Apple/Mac newbies and veterans alike are welcome.
